The governing body is the Board of Directors of Renaissance Discovery House Inc. who have overall authority and responsibility for creating and maintaining the core values, mission, and operation as well as all program components.
The governing body is responsible for establishing policy and ensuring it complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
The governance authority recruits membership whenever possible representative of the populations and cultures the organization is formed to serve.
The Administrator appointed by the Board of Directors is authorized to complete a statement of responsibility on behalf of the governing body acknowledging the governing body's responsibility for the operation of the program in accordance with the administrative rules and regulations of the State of Georgia in connection with any license application.
Inspections and Plans of Corrections
The Board of Directors authorizes the department of community health and it's representative to enter and inspect any and all program premises which, for the purposes of this policy includes access to all parts of the facility, staff, persons in care, and documents pertinent to initial and continued licensure, including but not limited to all clinical records maintained on clients.
The Board of Directors will authorize the program to respond in writing with a plan of correction of any found violations.
