Client Fees
Policy
Recovery Works provides information about client fees and program costs to each client at intake. The fee schedule is easily obtainable from any staff member, by phone, or by email.
Procedure
At intake the client will be provided a schedule of fees, insurance billing practices, and possible scholarships applied to cover program costs. (Exhibit A)
Any extra charges client could be held accountable for are explained in writing.
A financial agreement explaining all charges will be kept in the clients record. (Exhibit B)

Recovery Works follows industry standard billing practices and bills at a usual and customary rate compared to other similar programs in the State of Georgia. Treatment stays, scholarships, agreements with third party payors, or other financial arrangements may affect the total cost of care.
In order to make the program more accessible to a larger number of those seeking help, in line with our non-profit mission. Recovery Works offers flat, non-refundable Scholarship Rates which can often reduce the economic burden of receiving effective drug and alcohol treatment.
Daily Rates
Ambulatory Detox: $2600.00
Partial Hospitalization: $2376.00
Intensive Outpatient: $1907.00
Scholarship Rates
First Month $13,000.00
(Includes Initial Physical Assessment, Clinical Assessment, Individualized Treatment Planning, Group Counseling Sessions, Individual Counseling Sessions, Psychiatric Evaluation, Weekly Psychiatric Sessions (if needed), Medication Coordination and Management (May have additional fees if needed care is higher than we provide)
Additional Months: $8000.00
Recovery Works provides Case Management Services included in the program. If staff must appear in court or provide transportation to probation appointments or other similar situation a transportation fee and/or and appearance fee may be required.
Any such fees must be disclosed to the client in writing before client can be held responsible.
Recovery Works may elect to take insurance as a form of payment.
Housing
Housing costs are not included. Referrals to community housing providers can be made upon request.

FINANCIAL POLICY AND AGREEMENT FORM
Following is the fees schedule and methods of payment for Recovery Works
Medical Withdrawal – is an optional step which is dependent on whether or not the client is physically addicted to drugs or alcohol and the withdrawal from them would pose serious life threatening consequences in which case 24 hour medical supervision and additional medical care would be required. These arrangements should be made in advance to coordinate a smooth admission. The costs for this service vary, and are separate from that of Recovery Works. Payment needs to be arranged with the provider directly.

*Plan I- Recovery Works is a non-profit (501(c)(3) organization, therefore if the full program payment can be received prior to or at the time of admission, all funds can be properly allocated towards the program expenses, without further cost to Recovery Works, resulting in a 10% saving for the financier.

*On occasion it may be necessary for a staff member or counselor to help coordinate an intervention, make a court appearance, or provide escort services. All of these services are available and the costs are determined by the various circumstances of the situation.
PROGRAM PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Renaissance Discovery House Inc., the governing body of Recovery Works was incorporated as a non-profit, public benefit corporation, and received its 501 (c) (3) Federal tax exemption in 2018. Unfortunately, Recovery Works receives no government aide at this time. Therefore, the above mentioned fees are required. All service fees will have been properly allocated and absorbed at the end of 30 days.
HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE
Some individuals have health insurance coverage that may pay for all or a portion of the Recovery Works program. When health insurance is involved, Recovery Works requires that the responsibility of the program payment be arranged with the program financier according to an agreed upon payment plan. Recovery Works agrees to aid in insurance filing. However, it is also your responsibility to contact your insurance company and follow up with them.
REFUNDS
Refunds will be considered under the following circumstances:
If a client, after the program fee is paid, fails to be admitted to the program, he or she will be entitled to receive a repayment of the unused fee.
If a client is discharged from the program as the result of an inability to complete the program for medical reasons, he or she may be entitled to some repayment.
If incomplete data (such as Psychiatric History) is obtained at the time of registration and the client is ultimately found to be ineligible due to clinical information obtained later, he or she may be entitled to a repayment.
Once a person has started the program the total fee amount is considered fully earned (allocated) and is thereafter non-refundable. We understand unforeseeable events happen in life. Some clients must leave the program for other reasons than mentioned above. Recovery Works will upon written request consider partial refunds. If partial repayment is agreed upon by Executive Director it must be reviewed by the Board of Directors of Renaissance Discovery House Inc, the governing body of Recovery Works. No Refund amounts which have not been reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors can be considered due or payable. Please allow up to 90 days for repayment once approval has been granted.
HOUSING
Any supportive living arrangements are made with the housing entity of your choice. Recovery Works may provide a list of preferred providers, and all financial and living arrangements will be contracted for by the client and the housing entity of their choice. The Room and Board costs should be assumed at $1700/mo for 4-6 months.
CLIENT FUNDS
Client funds are a separate account from the clients service account. These funds are for the client’s personal incidentals. Clients are not allowed to have cash. Meal cards and store cards can be purchased for them by Recovery Works as a service, providing the family has made payment to Recovery Works for the cards.
